First time at High Point

Headed up the first couple miles is single track, loose dirt/gravel and rocky.  Then, you reach a wide fire road type trail.  Everything well marked.   The peak is nice with picnic tables and such.

It got a little hot and it was the farthest mileage my pup has gone…it was a little too much for him.  I started with 4 liters of water for both of us and just about ran out.  Rattlesnakes on the way back.  Heard them but didn’t look around to see where they were.  We also saw a couple horny toads.
