First time up to San Jacinto Peak

I absolutely loved this hike! It was challenging, but I loved hiking through the trees and ferns. We did have some fallen trees that we had to go over/under/around, as well as some rock scrambling. There were lots of purple flowers blooming as we climbed. This trail was well maintained and almost free of litter. I did find a bit of trail trash which I packed out with my trash. There were also sections with a lot of bees but they left us alone.
