What a gorgeous uphill battle. The valley below upon entry into the canyon was verdant and serene. Knowing the trail is popular we started at 6:15am. The views of the peaks were stunning but with high winds, we didn’t stay long at the summit. Highly recommend gloves for all the bouldering. The trail beyond the saddle isn’t marked so when in doubt, keep the iron in view on your right and keep climbing.
