Flatiron

Wrapped up the week with completing 5 of the 6 hikes! #6 will be completed before year end. Flatiron is always a doozy of a hike.. and I broke the rule of thumb and went right on one part of the trail when I definitely should have stayed left. I hiked up a half mile the wrong way to hike back down then to hike back up the right way. Happened about 3/4 of the way up. Didn’t let it discourage me despite how tired and sore the wrong way made me. Carried blisters on my feet during the hike due to have been hiking all week.. but that didn’t stop me either. Three hours up and two hours down. Weather was perfect. Wore a light long sleeve the entire time. Trail wasn’t overly packed.. just a few other groups. Fully enjoyed it.. difficulty and all.. every time!
