Hit the trailhead right at 6am in order to try to beat the heat today. There were far more people on the trail after the basin than I’ve ever seen before and they just kept coming even as it started to heat up… I was almost back to the trailhead at 10am and looked at the temperature and it was 90. And by the time I left the park it was 99. ????
