Flatiron-great final hike to finish the challenge

Beautiful day to finish the summer challenge.  We got out early and started hiking around 6:30 am.  The weather was nice and cool and there weren’t too many people on the trail yet.  The weather had warmed up quite a bit by the time we got to the top of Flatiron. We enjoyed a nice short lunch and took in the views along with a sighting of a ring-tailed cat.  I had never seen one before so I was quite excited, only wish I could have taken a picture…..he scattered away too quickly.  Took our time going back down and snapped a few more shots of the wildflowers in bloom.
