Flatiron – the baddest and the best! (So far!)

This hike was the one that scared me, even though I did the Rim to Rim in October. Maybe because I see that impenetrable looking wall all the time in the distance. I knew it would take a cheerful and positive group to join for me to feel it was doable.  I found that group, and it made all the difference. We all got up to the top, and I actually had a good time on the climb! It wasn’t as bad as I’d imagined, the weather was perfect, and since we started at dawn, we were ahead of the crowds. I found my confidence to look for bigger challenges, thanks to Flatiron. ????????
