Foggy and fabulous morning on Grass Mountain

We started really early and I recommend you do too! Left SLO at 5a and was on trail by just after 6. We hiked in a glorious fog bubble haha. At the top we were literally above the clouds and it was neat to see the other taller mountains pole through. The fog lifted as we made our way down and gave us some spectacular canyon views plus our first actual view of Grass Mountain itself. The last mile up the mountain is brutal!!
