Foggy day on Ellinor

I reached the lower trailhead around 12:00. It was nearly full but I was able to squeeze in on the side. The hike up starts forested and there were many ripe huckleberries – red and blue. The last half of the hike has many many stairs. Trailwork is oncoming to repair and replace many of these, but the trail is still in good condition. Unfortunately, it was very foggy at the top. I did not see the goats, though hikers headed down reported seeing them. I did see goat droppings, so they had been in the area and moved on before I arrived.
