Fremont Saddle

The best of all worlds! Cool but sunny. So much green it was hard to believe this is in the desert, even some water pools in the rocks. A few little shady canyons along the way. Some rocks to skip and jump over and a few spots with slick rock towards the top. Reaching the saddle was magnificent as Weavers Needle came into view. A few more steps around to the right and we found a nice shady rock to sit and enjoy the expansive view ahead of us. Just as the hike up was challenging but not too difficult, so too was the descent. Favorite hike of the challenge. We will be back to Fremont Saddle and this time we will continue beyond the saddle.
