Fresh Apple Pie on Mt. Wilson – Yes, please!

What a beautiful weather day for this hike. Unfortunately, we were planning to park at Chantry lot around 6 AM and it was closed. Thank goodness we had the opportunity to start at Sierra Madre/Mt Wilson trail instead. It’s a long hike but bugs weren’t bad and the downhill at the end was greatly appreciated. At the cafe, my trail pal had fresh apple pie and said it was wonderful. Love the Cosmic Cafe and clean bathrooms at the top. Another peak bagged.
