Friday Night Sitton Solo

Arrived ~4:10 p.m. Store closed. Parking empty. I signed the trailhead register (looks like the trail sees less than 1x per day) at 4:15…

It’s an easy trail for fast travel – it undulates just enough to give short breaks just when you need them. The trail is well marked with white wooden pole every mile or so.

Summited at 6:05… Lots of haze… spent ~15 minutes shuffling through summit register… Scoped out some potential rock climbing spots on the way back… Back to car by 8… Never saw another person.

I hadn’t done Sitton before, so this was an interesting, worthwhile hike. Now to tag some others before deadline….
