Hiked with a group

It was a beautiful chili 38° morning. We started around 6:50 AM. it was dark headlamps required. We went in through siphon draw and within about 20 minutes we warmed up as the sun started rising. We were greeted by a couple of deer eating on the hillside there morning foliage. The trail at places is sometimes hard to find however they’ve done a good job marking it with white dots sporadically placed to keep eager hikers on the trail. This definitely is considered a hard hike where many times you needed to use finger holes to climb and push yourself up the mountain. Siphon draw was a beautiful part of the hike. There was some loose street, but fairly easy to traverse Probably the most challenging area was a place called 10 wall.  Straight climbing and maneuvering.  I would say over 3/4 of this hike is an aggressive scramble though the views are amazing. We were able to accomplish in three hours and 49 minutes though others can do it much quicker or slower depending on the party that they are with. We did see a few dogs, though it is a pretty challenging trail.

this is a hike that I highly recommend you take an ice bath or compression boots afterwards as you will be a little sore. Feel very accomplished and now onto the next peak
