Gaviota Bound

This was day two of tackling the peaks in this area. I had not been hiking much leading up to this trip so I was still a bit sore. I foolishly planned to do both Gaviota and Grass Mountain the same day. That didn’t happen. I did park inside the State Park area and pay the fee even though I could have parked just outside the entrance. I headed up trail and got to the top for a beautiful view of the coast. The whole trek took just over 3 hours to complete the 6.17 miles. This was followed by a nice lunch and beer in Solvang where I stayed the night.
