Getting High

I stayed overnight in Temecula so I only had to contend with a thirty minute drive in the morning.  It was foggy again but once I got outside of the city it cleared up.  It wasn’t very clear where to park at the trailhead and the beginning part of the trail was confusing.  However, the views during this hike were some of the best.  Despite climbing for essentially the entire hike I really enjoyed this one.  I got a wave from the friendly rangers at the top of the watch tower and it was a bit difficult to find the summit sign (it was leaning up against the restroom).  I would probably do this hike again now that I know where to park.  I had a time crunch so I hustled up and down the trail in four hours and would like to take my time during my next visit.
