Getting lost on Rose Peak hike

Yesterday’s hike up to Rose Peak was beautiful! So many wildflowers blooming! My friend guided us, as she had done the 50K marathon many times. However, we still managed to take 2 wrong turns – once going up, and once on the way down. Total mileage added up to 24 with well over 5000 ft. elevation. No matter; we made it down safely before dark, and all is well but for a bit of foot ache. One more to go!
