Gnarly start, Beautiful finish

Got a late start around 10am. The weather was cool and no wind. The first 2 miles of the hike are a bit difficult. exposed with no shade. The sun warmed up pretty fast. Nothing bad, just warm and got a little sweat. After the second mile the trail flattens out and you wonder through some tall trees. We made it to last stretch and again steep but not too bad. View from the top was awesome. To scramble up the rocks to the top wasn’t too bad. You can use some worn out webbing, scramble up from the left hand side. Or if you go around to the south east side there was a ladder that got you halfway up the backside then scramble to the top. Great hike with some good friends. Can’t wait for the next one.
