Golden Rose Peak

We hiked in on Friday and set-up at Doe campground (which is adequate but minimal.) It was approximately 1 mile and 600′ elevation gain to the top of Rose Peak from there where we watched the sunset. Gorgeous 360 degree views. We then headed back to our campsite where we listened to coyotes howl while we cooked our dinner. The next morning we went back-up Rose Peak for the sunrise. Hiked out on Saturday.
