Hiked with a partner

Started the hike around 10 am with my hiking/challenge partner Chris.  It took us about 90 minutes to reach the summit. We jogged the whole way down. The temp was high 70s to low 80s.  The second have of the trail offered little shade but the views were worth it.  Great hike to start the challenge. A bit tiring as we approached the top but definitely doable.
