Grass Mountain Poppyfest

Had planned to run Caliente peak but there was no access off the 166 so I “ran” Grass Mountain instead. Upper section was more of a hike with lots of stops. The trail is tough. Very steep and loose getting to the peak but the wildflower bloom made it so worth the effort. Wow!!!  The poppies were amazing. Enough water in the stream at the bottom for a quick rinse before getting a mug of Hoppy Poppy at Figueroa Mtn Brewing in Los Olivos as a reward for my efforts.
