This was my 3rd hike to Mailbox Peak but first time in the Summer. It was a great hike we took OLD trail to climb and returned through NEW trail.
We reached at parking lot around 7:15, only couple of spots were available in the 2nd parking lot. Main parking was completely full. It was partially cloudy when we reached at the top, so we didn’t have to worry about heat or anything. View from the top was spectacular and we saw couple of mountain goats ???? as well.
Overall it was a good hike, hopefully I will be able to do it couple of times this year.
