Trailhead Hail and Lightning on Katahdin

Road Road suitable for all vehicles
Bugs Bugs were terrible
Snow Snow free

It was tough ! Steep and extremely windy . On the way down it started to Hail and lighting even though the peak forecast stated it was a clear day. I made it down Abol but this will go in the books for the hardest climb I’ve done yet.
