Hardest for last

Didn’t mean to save this hike for last, let alone late December.  Managed to catch great weather as it was low 40s at 8am when we started.  The first 1.5 miles is steep and will stress you going up (or down on the way back).  Several sections have snow patches that have been trampled and are now icy.  A little slipping and sliding but slow/methodical steps make all crossing successful.  Did the whole hike in under five hours, not counting the 30-minute stop at the top.  Enjoy it.
