Started at the Oak Grove Trail and marveled at the beauty of the surrounding foliage and hills up to High Point summit. Was proud when I made it to fire tower. I read it was the tallest fire tower in California. This hike challenged me mentally. Longest hike I’ve done to date. My reward was the panoramic view of San Diego County.
