It was freezing cold when we started. About one mile ish, we had to use our micro spikes on the arrow trail. Certain sections on the trail was hard snow. When we got to fire road, no snow about a quarter mile. Then there was snow. More snow when we higher. Soft power snow. Certain area snow as thick as eight inches. The weather was beautiful. No wind.
