High Point Heaven

The trailhead starts behind the fire station. This trail is tough. It’s very steep the first 2 miles and decently steep the remainder with only a few breaks from the incline. It was extremely hot on our way down and it was very hard on our knees. The High Point Lookout Station was pretty cool and the volunteer lookout cane down for a few minutes and talked to us. The views were beautiful.
