High Point Lookout with the Canadian Mountain Biking Team

Hike # 5 in my quest to complete the SoCal Six-Pack of Peaks Challenge.

Starting at the Oak Grove Fire Station (parking lot behind the building), the trail is steep single track for the 1st 2 miles, then feeds out onto Oak Grove Fire Road, which provides a more gradual ascent and will take you the rest of the way to the summit (approx 4.5 miles).  The wide road is optimal for social distancing requirements, although I did not encounter a single person until I reached the summit.  I was followed closely behind by the Canadian Mountain Biking Team!  Apparently their event was cancelled but they wanted to get in a good challenging ride.  I hope they were able to get back home before the lockdown.
