High Point – Mt. Palomar

I had difficulty locating the beginning of the trail, but once I found it, the hike went smoothly. It was a beautiful day and not very strenuous. I hiked to the summit and ate lunch there before heading back to the trail head. The fall foliage was beautiful. Somewhere towards the end of the hike, I took a wrong turn and ended up a bit south of the fire station, but fortunately was not too far from the parking lot.
