Started out at oak grove. 2 miles through a narrow trail. Meetes up with fire road to summit. A long hike uphill. Lots if elevation gain. Had to wear a head net the entire hike as knats and biting flys were everywhere. I was getn bit through a long sleeve shirt. Made it to the summit. Had lunch and headed back down. 14 1/2 miles in 81/2 hours. Tough but worth it.
