High Point Palomar

First 2 miles were very steep and challenging, once we hit the road it was fine. Going back down those steep miles near the trailhead was a challenge. Very little shade, I would not want to do this on a hot day. We started at 08:45am, summitted at noon, hiked down 12:30-3pm. Going to be sore tomorrow. We found it easier than El Cajon MTN even though it’s not as long because the steeps weren’t as steep and it wasn’t up hill both ways.
