Our final peak for our Colorado Six-Pack of Peaks trip! We saved the state high point for our finale.
This trail had similar vertical gain to Harvard, but with less mileage. We got to the trailhead at about 4:45 am and the parking lot was almost full.
Started out with headlamps, and joined the throngs. This is a very popular trail!
The trail itself is in excellent condition and much smoother hiking than Harvard. The multiple false summits were at times disheartening, but we pressed on and everyone summited.
Weather was beautiful. I was grateful for layers and sun protection.
