Epic Weather. Views of Palomar Observatory and San G and San J with snow caps. Wildflowers=go this weekend if you can. Much variety. Gnats intense around CA Live Oak trees. Forest Ranger(s) are in the tower for their 6 month season and knowledgeable/friendly/interesting. Great choice of a hike. Trail from trailhead to about 2 miles is pretty rugged/washed out from winter weather. Careful footing needed on the downhill.
