Hike up to Griffith Peak

Fantastic hike.  I enjoyed it very much.  Beautiful scenery and excellent panoramic views at the peak.  I could just barely see the Strip from the top which I thought was cool.  Excellent weather.  I got a few sprinkles on the way down.  Not too bad.  Also, this was a good practice run to eventually hike My Charleston since it is the same trail.  I haven’t hiked Mt Charleston for about 20 years.  And, I’m getting more confident that I can do it again.  Make sure to show up as early as possible to get a parking spot.  I showed up at 8:00 am.  And, I luckily got one of the last couple of spots.  I probably should’ve gone a little earlier.  But it’s all good.
