Trailhead Volcan Mountain Wilderness Preserve

Trail conditions Trail in good condition
Road Road suitable for all vehicles
Bugs Bugs were not too bad
Snow Snow free

Pros:  elevation gain was not bad, shade from oak trees along the path, path was clear and not confusing, and impressive views!

Cons:  bugs could be a problem in the summer (wear mosquito head nets), avoid dog poop on the trail (it’s an animal friendly trail after all)
