Hiking Black Mountain

It was a great day for a hike, cool in the morning but it warmed up to tank top weather as we were climbing.  This is about a 9 mile hike out to the summit of Black Mountain and back.  The trail is steeper in the beginning and end.  The view was best on the way up but the summit is fairly flat with not much of a view.  We hiked on a Wednesday and crossed paths with a few other people who joined the trail from a nearby residential area.  We may have been the only ones hiking the entire trail.  Overall it was a great day and a pleasant hike.
