Hiking Humphreys Peak

The trailhead had a bit of the crowd. Due to construction work, the route from the trailhead was rerouted a different route to the Katchina Wilderness Sign but otherwise the rest of the trail was the regular route. Lots of people out on the trail. But I had the summit all to myself since I started late and most of the hikers I met were all heading down. Used my headlight from near the saddle but made it back to my car with no incident. There were some people who were arriving at the trailhead just as I was about to leave as they were preparing to spend the night there probably for an alpine start. There was wind but it wasn’t overly strong.
