The weather was amazing. We started our hike at 4am and got to the peak a little before 9am. Parts of the trial after Cucamonga Peak saddle was covered so we went off trial a few times. After Icehouse Canyon saddle, you’ll need micro spikes and trek pole as you’ll encounter more snow and ice. After 6K feet, we started to feel the altitude by getting a lightheaded and dizzy causing us to walk like we’ve been drinking. My wife got really nauseous the last mile or so but she still summit. Just take you time and rest as needed. Don’t rush.
