Hiking to Corte Madera

The small dirt area that serves as a parking lot was almost full, but there was space for me to park in.  For the most part other than hikers coming back from the summit, I had the trail to myself. It was sunny and hot but the closer I got to the peak there was a breeze.  The hikers warned me about a small rattlesnake they had seen so I was extra careful but I didn’t see it. I got to the peak and stayed there for about 1 hour. A brisk breeze blew at certain intervals. Then I left and returned back to my car.
