Hot and Cold on Elden

A little uncertain how to dress for this one. Temps were mid 30’s when we started at 7:30am. Parking lot getting close to full. I wore shorts, a long-sleeve T and a beanie cap. We warmed up quickly, because this is ALL UPHILL. We started shedding layers quickly, but glad we had them because the wind chill at the summit was cold, and we were all wet with sweat. Total time about 2 1/2 hours up and 2 down, stopping for a snack on the downhill leg once we got off the summit and out of the wind!
