Hot Black Crater Hike

We started our hike late into the morning which isn’t common for us.  It was HOT! Just a confirmation for me that I have an early morning/late night hiking preference.  We enjoyed the hike anyway.  We especially liked the scenery contrast between what I call the “ghost forest” and the part of the mountain that wasn’t affected by wildfire.  The sky was mostly clear of wildfire smoke, so that was a bonus for views at the top, and there was a nice cool breeze up there too!  Overall, a great experience!
