Hot day on Tam

I’ve done several different routes to the East Peak of Mt Tam, and this was another one,  new to me, starting at Mountain Home Inn. AllTrails promised a variety of eco systems, which proved to be the case. As we are having a heat wand here in the Bay Area, the shady sections were delightful. But the sunny parts were hot and steep. Troop 80, Bootjack, old railroad grade, summit, Fern Creek (descent, fortunately), railroad grade, Hogback. Took a long time, but was worth it.
