Hot n Snowy Springs Mountain
Also on this hike
Several of inches of snow throughout the whole mountain on the ascend. Watch your head for snowballs falling from the trees, they hurt! The weather was a perfect mix of crisp air and steady sunshine. The beginning of the hike was quite difficult with some serious incline. It steadied out after about 2 miles then returned just before the summit. Gorgeous views at the top. The snow started to melt on the descend; a several slushy puddles. The snow was mostly melted on the steepest decline section a few miles from the trailhead. Overall such a fun and challenging experience.
