“HOT” Springs Mountain

The Los Coyotes Reservation is always so welcoming! Such nice people! We started the hike around 8:00 a.m. and those first two miles are ALWAYS the roughest! Quite a relentless climb up with full sun exposure. It’s a beautiful hike, but there were a lot of bugs this year! Make sure your bug net is ALWAYS in your pack… you just never know! It’s always a sketchy rock scramble to the summit, so we chose to play it safe and take our summit photo at the base of the ladder.  🙂  Such beautiful views from the water tower… a great place to rest and enjoy a snack.
