Hot Springs Mountain

Beautiful clear day with perfect weather.  Trail conditions were good with occasional ruts and patches of mud and snow, which made the hike more interesting than simply ascending a fire road.  Views from the old lookout tower were phenomenal!  The little side trip up to the actual peak was interesting and well marked.  You have to scramble up an old ladder up onto a rock to bag the actual peak, which is worth it but definitely spent more time hanging out by the fire tower and taking in the amazing views.
