Hot Springs Mountain Most Challenging so Far

This was the hardest peak so far, but we did it!!! Pretty much all up hill, and the horse flies were horrendous. Even with insect repellant, it didn’t deter them and they bite! I was grateful to have my bug net. We persevered and made it to the summit. The search was on for the sign, which we eventually found. It’s not at the tower, it’s to the right. The Sumit sign at the top points the way. I didn’t feel as confident as my hiking buddies, so I didn’t climb the ladder and ropes to get to it. So they passed down the “lightweight” sign for my photo op. We felt a great sense of accomplishment. What a great day we had.
