Hot Springs Summit with Family

Hiked with my Wife, Daughter and her boyfriend. Started late at 12 noon, but the temperature was a wonderful 75 with a cool breeze.  Several downed trees after the right turn onto Hot Springs Mountain Road. Use a GPS to track your miles, especially the first two. Take a easy pace for these first miles. Most of the beginning section is open, wear a wide brimmed hat oland/or use an umbrella. There is a lot of shade on Hot Springs Mountain Road. The views of the valley are amazing. It was great to share this hike with family
