Hump day!

Started up the monroe trail on a late Monday afternoon, approx 2pm. All in all, the recommended loop took us 4hrs top to bottom and all I can say that VT is a hidden gem when it comes to hiking. If it wasn’t for the challenge I dont know if I would have ever been up on these peeks. Trekking up the monroe trail was a great warm up for the legs as descending down the long trail was quite steep. After a ways back down and missing out on the montclair glen lodge due to time, dean trail was a relaxing finisher for the hike.
