- We have hiked Humphrey’s many times we use it for training to do bigger hikes. It is a long fun hike but not not hard . We use this hike for altitude training, We sleep in our suburban in the parking lot, even though there is a sign that says no camping; but is sleeping in your car camping? We get up at sunrise and are down for a late lunch. It is a great workout. I love all the changes -Alpines , Evergreen, to plants that grow in volcanic rock. The hike completes our six peak challenge, all the hikes enabled us to keep in shape for the Tour de Mont Blanc, which we completed in August.
