I ❤️ Bear Mountain

Bear Mountain is one of my favorite hikes in all of Arizona and I am so grateful to Six Pack of Peaks for introducing the hike to me when I first joined the summer challenge a few years ago. This hike really has it all and in a fairly short distance.  Today, the trail had some beautiful flowers to brighten the path and a special lizard that I realized may have been hurt when I was looking at the pictures after my hike.  I started early enough that the sun was just rising and there were only a few cars in the parking lot, which was overflowing at the time I was done… and so many hikers hiking Bear Mountain for the first time… I guess the word has gotten out about how amazing and special this hike is. ????
