I-cecream with Pain!

Started fairly late and was feeling very lazy. Went up Mitchell Canyon to Juniper Trail to Summit Trail. It was not that crowded today at the top and didn’t meet a ton of hikers on the way up either.

Enjoyed the ice-cream sandwich in the nice cool breeze at the summit.
On the way down, took the South Gate trail to North Peak trail, Eagle Peak trail and then down Bald Ridge creek back to Mitchel Canyon. The downward trails were kinda fun and single track. I enjoyed hiking down into the valley … this trail is very shaded and green compared to the fire roads.

Tarantula count: saw 2 dead and 2 alive!
